Fitness can be total, specific, or general. Total fitness is a thorough or complete development of the individual, both in mind and body. it embodies the cultivation of all the dimensions of man: the physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual. These dimensions serve the potentialities of the individual. Specific fitness is described as when an individual performs a particular task with a reasonable degree of efficiency, without undue fatigue, and with a rapid recovery from the effects of the exertion. The individual is said to be fit for that particular task. He may not be able to perform other tasks with the same ease and efficiency. General fitness on the other hand refers to the anbsence of disease and proper functioning of all body organs and all body parts.
this study was designed to investigate the effect of guided-inquary and demonstration methods of teaching on science process skills acquisation among secondry school biology student.
The introduction comprises the background of the study, statement of the problem,
purpose of the study, significance of the study, scope of the study and research
questions and or hypotheses.
The study was conducted to appraise the provision of career education in Agriculture by the Agricultural Science teachers in secondary schools in Enugu State. The adequacy of varieties of methods employed in career education and the teachers' competence in the use of certain methods were the concerns of the investigation. The results showed that the teachers employed very limited instructional methods and were inadequate in the use of 54 per- cent of 13 career education methods.
