Abstract

Grains from three improved Nigerian Sorghum cultivars were studied for the effects of modulation of steeping schedule viz application and duration of air rest periods and final warm water steep, alkaline steeping under various conditions of air resting and final warm steep treatment on the average main root development, malting loss and mobilization of endosperm storage reserves.
