The Avian Influenza (Bird Flu) had held sway in the course of time and had been the major acute and fatal disease of poultry. The Avian Influenza is a disease caused by the highly pathogenic H5NI virus. The disease has spread through Europe, Asia and has reached Nigeria the first African country to record the diseases.
