Comparative Appraisal of the Banking Supervisory Role of the Central Bank of Nigeria and the Nigerian Deposit Insurance Corporation

This study deals with the comparative appraisal of the banking supervisory role of the Central Bank of Nigeria and the Nigerian Deposit Insurance Corporation. Interest in this study arose as a result of different views held by bankers on the role of these two institutions (CBN and NDIC) in the Nigerian financial sector.
