Effects of Levels of Injectable Iron Supplementation on Growth and Haematological Values of Piglets in a Humid Tropical Environment

Thirty two crossbred piglets from six litters were used to determine the effect of four levels of injectable iron on growth and some haematological parameters, namely, haemoglobin (Hb), erythrocyte count (RBC), packed cell volume (PCV), mean corpuscular haemoglobin (MCH), mean corpuscular volume (MCV), and mean corpuscular haemoglobin concentration (MCHC).
