Abstract

This research was carried out to examine the influence of events marketing strategies in the marketing of Coca-Cola and Seven-up (7up) (A comparative study). Nigerian Bottling
Company Plc and 7up Bottling Company Plc at 9Ih mile in Enugu were used for this study. Structured questionnaires were distributed to selected staff of the marketing, research and public relations departments of the companies. The research work sought to determine among other things the nature of events marketing and the distinction/similarities between events marketing and other marketing communication tools; the relationship between events marketing and the organizations corporate and products positioning:
