Marketing of Antibiotics in Anambra State of Nigeria

Abstract

The ability to mobilize the right product i n the right quantity to the right place where the demand for it exists at the right time and price, aptly connotes t h e distribution objective. No distribution system however can simultaneously maximize customer service and minimize distribution cost. Maximum customer service implies such policies as large inventories, premium transportation and adequate storage, all of which are bound to influence distribution cost to some extent. The present study was undertaken to verify the validity of several allegations involving the distribution functions performed by
antibiotic dealers in Anambra State.
