Retirement is one of the greatest challenges facing organization 'members (employers,and their employees). As life span increases, government and other employers of labour find it increasingly difficult to cope with staff emoluments especially retirement benefits. Ageing is a natural phenomenon so all living things must retire from normal youthful activities, some day. Retirement is identified by the role theory as "role less" (Burgers 1960).
