Reflecting on the possibilities and unacceptability in strategies of persuation in English laqguage communication, it readily calls to mind the acclaimed be ief of Robert Louis , I Strevenson (1850 - 1894) that: "the difficulty is not to write, but to write what you mean, not to affect your reader, but to affect him precisely as you wish."
