Abstract

The concept of sin and its atonement have been the subject of
everyday discussion in religious circles. Sin has done more harm
than good to humanity and because of this, man from the beginning
have never relented in his search for a reliable means of atoning for
sins Committed so as to be in harmony with his maker one's more. In
order to find out what actually constitute sin in Igbo traditional religion
and culture, as well as how the sins committed could be atoned for,
Ezza community is taken by the researcher as a case study
