This is a study of the National Youth Service Corps in Nigeria with special focus on its activities in Cross Rivers and Akwa Ibom states of Nigeria.
In 1971, the Federal Military Government of Nigeria under the leadership of General Yakubu Gowon, met the israeli Government for technical aid in the area of providing for Nigeria a youth service organization.
