The primary obective of any industrial organisation is to achieve the goals for which it was established. The achievement of the goals depends largely on the optimum utilization of the human fincial and material resources of the organisation. Thus, to attain a meaningul gal of industrialization, the principles of employee-management relations must be practised by management and staff in a manner that the dialectic of labour -management relations will be effectively utilized.
This research is aimed at investigating the motivational strategies put in place in Nigeria Cement Company PLC Nkalagu and how these motivational strategies affected productivity in the company. The Company is one of the public owned enterprises in the country that has recorded huge successes both in terms of quality of products and profit making. The following hypothesis were therefore used to test the impact of the existing incentives in the company Vis- a vis the productivity.
1. The LEVEL OF PRODUCTIVITY IN THE Nigerian Cement Company YLC Nkalagu is determined by the level of motivations and incentives given to its employees.
2. The degree to which the organization succe~ed.s i. n. satisfying theneeds of
its workers determines the amount of efforts to the realization of the organizational objectives.
3. The relative industrial peace in the company is a strong indication of thecordial relationship between the management and workers as well as the organizational productivity attained.
This study aimed at ascertaining the perception of law enforcement agents, human nights activists and legal officers about the administration of human rights law in Nigeria. The study also explored their level of awareness of human rights law, the process of administration these law, the organs involved and the problems associated with the administration of human rights law In Niger.
This study investigted the motivation and the administration the judiciary in Enugu state. The study was intended to identify, establish the adequacy of motivational indices for the effective and and efficienty administration of th judiciary in Enugu state.
There are deficiencies in the performance of Government-owned tertiary health institutions in Nigeria. This study evaluated the prospects of public sector participation in managing these institutions. The study recommends public-private partnerships as a strategy to reinvigorate the public tertiary hospitals in Nigeria. The method would assure both government control and gains in efficiency of the private sector.
