Engel et al (1983:1) defined promotion as a controlled integrated programme of communication methods and materials designed to present a company and its products to prospective customers, to communicate need-satisfying attributes of the product to facilitate sales and thus contribute to long run profitable performance. Orba was one of the towns in the old Nsukka Division (now called Nsukka senatorial zone) and later in Isi-uze local government of the then Anambra state of Nigeria.
