Abstract

The study area which has an average elevation of 125.00m in mainly covered by igneous and metamorphic rocks, but sediments of the western flank of the Benue Trough covered the eastern section, Earlier geological mapping had revealed the occurrence of a variety of schists from quartz-muscovite-biotite schist to cordierite-tourmaline schist. The geophysical investigation was aimed at identifying the geophysical signatures of these features and identifying major structures.
