Abstract

Two factors considered fundamental to tourism are the natural and man-made factors. In Etliope sub-region, natural factors such as climate, water
resources, and flora and fauna, which are generally acclaimed as having tourism potentials, abound. Certain man-made factors such as accommodation facilities, access routes, telephone facilities, medical and other facilities, also exist in the sub-region. The aim of this study, therefore, is to appraise the man-made factors of Ethiope sub-region in Delta State, with a view to ascertaining their potentials for tourism.
