The main focus of this study was the evalcration of corporate commun~ty relations
of oil companies operating in Kokori and Olomorc, communities in Gelta State
The research method used was the survey approach. The main inslruments for
data collections were the questionnaires. Finding from the study however reveals
that corporate cornmur~ity relations by the oil c.ompanies operating in Kokori and
Olornoro communities will go a long way in enhancing peaceful co-existence
between thern and their host communities. If was found out also that the oil
companies mmmunity relations lo their host comtnunities is still at a very low
ebb and strch causes constant and continuous crisis between them and their
host cornrnunities.
