Abstract

The All Nigeria Conference on foreign Policy held in Kuru between April 6 to 13, 1986 has come and gone. It was called by the Head of State, Ibrahirn Babangida to chart the come of Nigeria's foreign policy up to the year 2000.

People had doubts about this conference since Nigeria has no foreign policy tradition in the sense that we do not have foreign policy frame-works from which policy radiates. In other words, after the deliberations of this conferenee and its recommendations especially the recommendations of its political committee, would they be implemented?
