Abstract

Organizations all over the world have adopted a. common practice
of sharing part of their revenues with host communities and even needy
firms requiring assistance. This practice of wealth sharing has in no small
measure assisted some of the organizations to be even more profitable.
'The business enterprise operates in an environment and through its
int.:ractions with the various cleinents of this environme 11, it ju$fied its
existence. For instance, it enjoys the legal protection of t.hr: government
and pays taxes in return. It sources its raw materials and ~.:~trw;?l resources
from the Bank and pays interests in return. It gets labour from the
population and pays wages and salaries in return, and to its proprietors it
pays profits.
