The purpose of this study to determine the effect post-primary school technical teachers' engagement in other paid roles than teaching has on their efficiency. Three research questions where posed to meet the above purpose. Also two hypothesis were tested to find out what influence some variables such as years of working experience, size of family and income have on the respondents perceptions of the identified propositions.
