Agriculture is the science, art and business of cultivation of the soil, production of
crop and rising of the livestock to serve man's needs.
This report has been divided into chapters to ease comprehension of the entire work
of the 4 I h year students of this noble faculty of agriculture.
Chapter one dealt with the introductory aspect of the work, chapter two discussed
the different units in soil science section, chapter three the crop science section, chapter
four Animal science, section the chapter five the engineering and veterinary sections.
Chapter six discussed the Agric extension and agric. economics section then finally chapter
seven gave the step by step activities of the departmental farm work project and some
necessary recommendations.
