Strategies for Securing Sponsorship for Intramural Sport Progammes in South-East Nigerian Universities

Abstract

This study identified the strategies for securing sponsorship for the intramural sport programmes of universities in the southeast geo-political zone of Nigeria. To achieve the purpose of the study, five specific objectives, and five research questions were posed to guide the study, while four null hypotheses were tested. The descriptive survey research design was used for the study. Data were collected from a sample of 20 marketing managers\sales representatives of companies, representing the sponsors and 49 Directors of sports and coaches representing the sport administrators.
