Validity of Teacher-made Economics used in Secondary Schools in Imo State

Abstract

Teacher-grade questions have for long formed the basis for examining and subsequently promoting (our) students in secondary schools. But the issue of how valid some of t:hese questions made by the teachers are, is, for most of the th e ,
taken f o r granted. Little or no systematic evaluation research appears t o have been carried out on how valid the teacher-made questions me.
The purpose of the study is to investigate the extent to . which teacher-made (essay) questions i n economics used in some secondary schools are valid.
