'rhis I-esearcli work was carried out to available some of the
contributions of Rural Area to National developii~ent.
It was observed that not only Rural Area contributing, rather they are
~lle basis 01' National Development.
F > Iliis research work pointed out from its' findings the numeroils
contributions made by rural sectors such as Agricultural product, providing
employment opportunities, creating areas of Tourism, increasing the income
of the Nation through the taxes the rural people pay, efforts of the rural organizations such as town union, community county council (CCC) Age grades, b ) formation of security group such as vigilante groups which also promote the security of' the nation, the contribution of N.Y.S.C in the rural area in the enlightenment campaign against H.1.V and AIDS.
