The Contributions of Farmers’ Multi- Purpose Cooperative Societies to Community of Development in Nsukka Zone of Enugu State

The purpose of cooperative groupings is to mobilize, encourage and
strengthen enquiring minds in people of various communities so a8 t o
acquire the knowledge and s k i l l s necessary for p r d i n g the living
conditions of people in the commmikiss. Considering the ilnpoetmt
contributions of cooperative societies t o community development,
the researcher sought to examine the contributions of farmers8 m u l t i -
purpose cooperative societies to community development in Nsukka zone.
